Core Printing Processes · Four Primary Technologies

Four printing methods.
Each engineered for a different need.

We operate gravure, flexographic, digital, and offset printing lines — giving you the flexibility to choose the optimal technology for your order volume, design complexity, and budget.

Flexographic Printing

Flexo · Flexible Relief Plate Technology

Using flexible relief plates, ink is transferred to the substrate through anilox rollers. Supports water-based, alcohol-soluble, and UV inks for broad environmental compliance.

Resolution: 150–200 dpi

Advantages

Limitations

Typical Applications

Stand-up zipper bags & gusseted bags for dry dog/cat food · Three-side sealed bags for pet snacks · Cost-effective large-batch packaging

Gravure Printing

Rotogravure · Engraved Cylinder Technology

Patterns are engraved onto metal cylinders (copper/chrome) forming ink cells. Ink fills the cells and is transferred to the substrate under pressure — delivering the highest color depth and consistency.

Resolution: 200–300 dpi

Advantages

Limitations

Typical Applications

Octagonal sealed bags for freeze-dried pet snacks · Stand-up bags for high-end pet health products · Wet food & semi-moist food packaging requiring premium visual presentation

Digital Printing

UV Inkjet / Toner · Direct-to-Substrate

No plate-making required — digital files are printed directly onto substrates via UV inkjet or toner technology. Enables variable data printing where each bag can carry unique content.

Resolution: 300–600 dpi

Advantages

Limitations

Typical Applications

Customized sample bags · Small-batch limited-edition packaging · Variable data packaging with unique QR codes or batch numbers per unit

Offset Printing

Offset Lithography · Oil-Water Separation

Ink is transferred to the substrate via an intermediate blanket cylinder using the oil-water separation principle. Delivers extremely high precision for paper-based packaging formats.

Resolution: 300–600 dpi

Advantages

Limitations

Typical Applications

Pet food hand-held paper bags · High-end gift box outer packaging · Brand promotion packaging requiring premium print quality on paper substrates

Auxiliary Printing Processes · Four Finishing Techniques

Surface finishing that elevates
your brand on shelf.

Every core printing process can be enhanced with one or more auxiliary finishing techniques — improving durability, visual impact, and tactile quality.

🎞️

Lamination

Glossy / Matte / Laser Film

A transparent film layer applied over the printed surface to enhance scratch resistance, water resistance, and visual gloss. Available in three variants to match your brand aesthetic.

Suitable For

All packaging formats — especially heavy-duty bags (10kg / 15kg / 20kg) requiring long-term storage durability and frequent handling

✨

Hot Stamping

Gold / Silver / Color Foil Transfer

Thermal pressure transfers metallic foil onto the packaging surface, creating a premium metallic luster effect that instantly elevates brand perception and shelf presence.

Suitable For

High-end health product packaging · Brand LOGO highlighting · Limited-edition packaging requiring luxury visual differentiation

💎

UV Varnishing

UV Gloss / UV Matte Protective Coating

UV varnish applied to the printed surface and cured with ultraviolet light, forming a hard protective layer. Dramatically improves scratch resistance for key areas of the packaging.

Suitable For

Brand LOGO areas · Key information zones · Any area requiring enhanced abrasion resistance and visual pop

🏛️

Embossing / Debossing

Raised (Embossed) / Recessed (Debossed) Texture

Embossing rollers press the packaging surface to create three-dimensional raised or recessed patterns and text. Enhances tactile consumer experience and adds a sophisticated anti-counterfeiting effect.

Suitable For

High-end packaging · Brand LOGO tactile enhancement · Special pattern decoration requiring a premium physical texture

Match your order scenario to the recommended printing method — or contact us for a one-on-one consultation.

A

Large-batch dry pet food packaging

Cost-sensitive · High volume · Standard designs

Choose Flexographic Printing. High-speed production, eco-friendly water-based inks, and moderate plate costs make this the most cost-effective solution for stand-up zipper bags, gusseted bags, and three-side seal snack bags at scale.

B

Premium freeze-dried or wet food packaging

High visual quality · Complex artwork · Brand-critical

Choose Gravure Printing. The highest color fidelity, thick ink layers, and superior batch consistency make gravure the standard for premium brands where packaging is a key brand differentiator.

C

Sample bags, trial orders, or limited editions

Small quantity · Fast turnaround · Variable content

Choose Digital Printing. No plate-making cost, 24–48 hour delivery, and variable data capability make digital the only viable option for small-batch customization, product launches, and market testing.

D

Gift boxes, paper handbags, retail display packaging

Paper substrate · Premium retail · Brand gifting

Choose Offset + Lamination. Ultra-sharp print quality on paper substrates, combined with lamination and optional embossing or hot stamping, delivers the premium unboxing experience required for high-end retail and gifting formats.
